I was eligible for a dental cleaning before my insurance coverage ended, and because I’m someone who is diligent about dental care, I wanted to make sure I used the benefit before losing it. My usual dentist did not have availability, so I decided to try this office. I was also open to finding a new dentist closer to home. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. I went in for a cleaning, but the dentist did essentially no cleaning at all. I was encouraged to pay out of pocket for X-rays because my insurance would not cover another set, so I agreed. After looking at the X-rays, the dentist told me I had no cavities, but he did not take any real time to examine my teeth. He then spent approximately two minutes “polishing” my teeth, but none of the usual cleaning procedures were performed. The appointment felt much more focused on upselling than on providing the service I scheduled. The dentist seemed far more interested in discussing an implant I need and telling me how he could do that work than in actually cleaning my teeth. Considering I had a dentist in my immediate family for over 20 years, I can safely say I agree with several of the negative remarks I’ve read about this office. I visited on 10/17/25 with a Healthfirst Insurance Plan, which I had verified both prior to booking and again before my appointment. I was informed that my plan covered X-rays, extractions, two annual cleanings, crowns, and fillings. I haven’t been to the dentist in almost three years and have recently been experiencing significant pain in my upper gums near my molars. My goal was to have a basic cleaning and an evaluation of that area. After X-rays were taken (which was fine), I was abruptly told I’d need a “deep cleaning” costing over $800 out-of-pocket. When I asked whether my policy covered basic cleanings—as previously confirmed—I was told it did, but that they would not be performing one. I find it highly unprofessional to take X-rays without any follow-through, especially knowing the patient hasn’t been seen in years and came in for preventative care. The remark made to me that I “don’t have insurance, I have a plan” was also unnecessary and, frankly, borderline discriminatory toward those with certain types of cover

Refused to see me because I had recently been to the dentist 10 days . I was told they wasn't sure they would get paid with Fidelis care... Told them I would call, but they still refused service. Everytime I use Fidelis the dentist office somehow finds away to refuse service, you cant even use a normal tone cause they will refuse service with the excuse that you were rude or disruptive.

Dr. Sahawneh is the best dentist by a mile. I’ve been coming to his office for the past year and he is an outstanding professional, but an even better human being. He cares about his patients on a level I haven’t experienced before, not to mention, he makes you super comfortable before he begins working on your teeth. Additionally, his office staff is also the best, makes you laugh, keeps you comfortable, and in a way, makes you look forward to your visits. I’m extremely grateful to Dr. Sahawneh, in getting my teeth back on track. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for dental work. Thank you!

Very honest, efficient dentist. Staff is amazing makes you feel very comfortable. Being a new patient here I feel I was taken care of very well, worked with my hectic schedule to help me resolve any dental needs I had in a timely manner! Explains everything in detail and why certain treatments may be needed but very conservative with dental work no nonsense or unnecessary extra treatment. Very happy with my new dental care so far! Very reasonable Doctor! Thank you Dr Sahawneh for everything you’ve helped me with so far! Much appreciated!!
